Exposed aggregate concrete is concrete that has decorative aggregate’s (stones) and at times coloured pigments in or on top of the concrete mix it's self.
The aggregate concrete be it a driveway, car park or paved area is placed levelled and trowel, the concrete is topped or mixed with selected aggregates.
The exposed aggregate concrete is allowed to set and then the top paste or layer of concrete is removed via high pressure water blasting or sponged off, leaving the aggregate revealed.
